Welcome,
my name is Bigio!
The Biscuit of San Pellegrino
We call it “il Bigio”, almost like a dear friend.
For nearly a hundred years, this biscuit has been part of every welcome: you’ll find it at breakfast, in your room, even decorating the wallpaper. A golden, buttery half-moon is our sweetest way of saying welcome.
The smile of the marionettes
Luigi “Bigio” Milesi, both puppeteer and pastry chef, used to charm audiences with his biscuits.
Today, his marionettes remain here, between the pastry shop and the hotel, reminding us that sweetness comes from hands that shape dough and craft smiles with a buttery half-moon.

Hotel Bigio, nestled in the heart of San Pellegrino Terme, Italy, is a charming and historic hotel that blends old-world character with modern convenience. It’s especially popular among travelers visiting the nearby QC Terme spa, which is just a short walk away.

Great place to stop for pastry coffee or anything really. Located opposite the river, you can sit back and watch the world go by. You also get some free nibbles…really tasty.

Absolutely amazing service, always there when you need them also speaks english. Astonishing view through the windows; stayed for two days and it was one of the best decisions in my life. There's a few bars and a local grocery store nearby.
